Scream in the Dark – Thailand

At the entrance, guests are greeted by Crazy Clown—a mischievous, animatronic host who’s equal parts funny and sinister. In Thailand, he welcomes and taunts visitors in both English and Thai, setting the stage for the thrills to come. Nearby, Horrible Harry, a “live” ventriloquist dummy, eagerly encourages guests to “Scream! Scream! Scream!” to earn points before they even board the ride.

Inside, riders are immersed in a world of twisted circus chaos, packed with over 100 illuminated targets to shoot at. Scores are displayed in real time on in-car scoring consoles, keeping the competition fierce. Crazy Clown reappears as a chilling fog-screen apparition, his laughter echoing through the dark as guests encounter a cast of bizarre and frightening clowns around every corner. Beware...nothing in Scream in the Dark is ever quite what it seems.

Blending cutting-edge technology with a nostalgic nod to classic Laff-in-the-Dark rides, Scream in the Dark delivers a unique mix of fear and fun. As part of the Ripley’s Entertainment Zone attractions in one of Thailand’s most popular malls, this interactive experience invites guests to scream, laugh, and compete for the highest score.

At the heart of the attraction is the Scream-O-Meter, an innovative system that measures the intensity of each rider’s screams—awarding bonus points for those brave (or loud) enough to let loose. The louder you scream, the higher you score!
