2024 was the year the world got to see what Bikini Bottom was like in person. The new dark ride debuted at Circus Circus in Las Vegas as part of the popular family hotel and casino restoration. Since its opening last year, the dark ride has received recognition by USA Today as one of the top 10 new attractions in the U.S.
Cloudco Entertainment joined forces with Sally Dark Rides to bring a Care Bears™️ family dark ride to the market. With the longevity of the Care Bears brand and Sally's specialty in bringing IP to life, this dark ride would be a sensation for anyone looking to connect with their family audience.
Sally Dark Rides' President and Chairman, John Wood topped Jax Daily Record's list of entrepreneurs. The article, Steering the Twists and Turns of Dark Rides, highlights Wood’s journey from a modest beginning, crafting novelty animatronics, to building a global business as the leader in custom dark rides.
At IAAPA Honors, two SDR attractions were honored. PortAventura World's dark coaster Uncharted: The Enigma of Penitence and the SDR X DWL collaboration Treasure Hunt: The Ride in Monterey, California both received Brass Ring Awards.
