Now Open! SpongeBob's Crazy Carnival Ride at The Land of Legends

The Land of Legends Theme Park in Antalya, Türkiye, has recently unveiled SpongeBob's Crazy Carnival Ride, marking the first SpongeBob SquarePants dark ride outside the United States. This interactive attraction immerses guests in the whimsical world of Bikini Bottom, featuring vibrant sets, special effects, animatronics, and integrated animation.

SpongeBob's Crazy Carnival Ride is part of the newly launched Nickelodeon Land at The Land of Legends, which opened on March 1, 2025. This vibrant addition to the theme park offers guests an immersive experience across three uniquely themed areas: Bikini Bottom, Adventure Bay and Star Trek: Wild Galaxy.

Bikini Bottom is a section designed to simulate being underwater with an upbeat, bubbly atmosphere that mimics the iconic show. There are a variety of themed attractions including Plankton's Plunge, Flying Dutchman's Ghost Ship, Bikini Bottom Bus Tour, and of course SpongeBob's Crazy Carnival Ride!

Upon stepping into the carnival tent, Mr. Krabs invites guests to explore his new carnival on the ocean floor. SpongeBob and Patrick assist by stocking game booths but mistakenly use Krabby Patty ingredients, leading to comedic gameplay.

There are five animatronics featured throughout the attraction. Riders will come face-to-face with Mr. Krabs, Plankton, Squidward, and the mastermind himself- SpongeBob SquarePants!

The collaboration between Sally Dark Rides, Paramount Global, and Nickelodeon has brought this unique attraction to life, offering guests of all ages a chance to dive into the nautical adventures of SpongeBob and his friends.
